2. Purpose of Processing
LINDE will collect your personal data and process it in order to:
- Identify users who contact LINDE;
- Process orders, requests, or respond to petitions made by the user through any of the contact methods made available to the user on LINDE’s website;
- Provide services contracted by the user;
- Manage the contractual relationship that may exist between the parties;

3. Data Retention
In the event that the user has entered into a contract with LINDE, personal data will be retained while the contractual relationship between the parties is maintained and, in any case, until the period for demanding responsibilities derived from the contractual relationship and other legal obligations has elapsed (generally, 5 years).
In all other cases, the personal data provided will be retained until the data subject requests its deletion. Once deletion is requested, the data will be kept blocked, in accordance with the legal deadlines established in legal, fiscal, and accounting matters (generally, a period of 5 years).

In the event that the user has entered into a contract with LINDE, the legal basis for data processing lies in the execution of the existing contract between the parties.
In all other cases where the user provides personal data through any form located on the website, the legal basis for processing your data will reside in the freely given consent, which may be withdrawn at any time.
In the case of data provided by visitors to LINDE facilities, the legal basis for processing will reside in the legitimate interest of the Data Controller.
